Spinach’s Link To Hair Growth
Spinach is an important vegetable for hair growth because it is high in protein and vitamin A and vitamin C, which the body uses to produce oils in the scalp, which can help increase hair growth. Vitamin A and vitamin C deficiencies can increase hair loss or lead to brittle, thin hair that does not grow as quickly.

The natural oils and fats in avocado make it a great ingredient for dry hair. Mash a ripe avocado into a bowl. Add in honey, olive oil, and finally aloe juice or gel. Mix the ingredients well, then dampen the hair and apply the avocado paste all over your hair. Use your fingers or a comb to distribute the mask through your hair. Your hair will feel very soft and smooth, and you will notice an immediate difference. Apply the paste 1 or 2 times a month for softer, shinier hair.

Amla oil is a natural substance often used to promote hair health. Some people also use amla oil to fight hair loss and prematurely graying hair. When used as a hair treatment, am
Amla oil has long been used in ayurvedic medicine. Featuring a number of essential fatty acids, amla oil is thought to strengthen the hair follicles and condition the hair. Proponents also claim that amla oil can help treat dry, itchy scalp. Besides essential fatty acids, amla fruit are high in vitamin C, flavonoids, polyphenols, and also contain water, protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.
How to Use Amla Oil on Hair
Amla oil is often applied after shampooing hair and used in place of a conditioning product. When used in this manner, amla oil is typically massaged into the strands so that it completely covers hair (from the roots to the tips). It can be covered with a shower cap. After sitting for 15 minutes or more, the amla oil is then thoroughly rinsed from the hair with warm water.
According to Ayurvedic practitioners, applying amla oil to the scalp can help with dandruff or soothe a dry, itchy scalp. The oil is massaged into the scalp daily and rinsed out after 15 minutes, or it can be left on the scalp overnight before being washed out. To prevent staining, pillows should be covered with old towels or an old t-shirt or a shower cap can be worn.
Amla oil can have a strong, musky smell, so it may not be suitable as a leave-in conditioner or styling product unless used sparingly.
Amla Shampoos and Hair Powders
Although pure amla oil is commonly used as a hair treatment, amla oil is also featured as an ingredient in shampoos. In addition, amla extract is available in a variety of hair powders.
Some people also create their own hair treatments by combining amla powder with warm water so that the blend achieves a paste-like consistency. When applied to dry, clean hair as a hair treatment, this mixture is thought to increase the hair’s softness and thickness.
Where to Find Amla Oil
Widely available for purchase online, amla oil is sold in many natural-foods stores and in stores specializing in Indian products.

Flat Ironing Tips
Before using any form of heat in your hair, you must apply styling products that help to protect your hair against heat damage. Once you have applied the heat protection product, you should gently comb your hair with a wide toothed comb. Combing, further distributes the protective product to each strand of your hair. It is very important to properly set your flat iron on the correct heating temperature that works best for your hair type, before attempting to style your hair.
Average to thick or chemically treated hair will straighten best at a medium heat of 310F.
Thick hair benefits from medium to high heat at 330F. Coarse, hard-to-straighten hair requires high to maximum heat at 360 F to 395F.

Mathematical Hair Heat Index
The average household water heater temperature is about 150 degrees!
The average flat iron temperature is about 350-500 degrees!
The average blow dryer temperature is about 200-400 degrees!
So, let’s do the math!
150+500+400= A whopping 1,050, if you add the highest temperature settings, which is far to much heat!
To avoid damage, skip out on some of your heat intake! Washing your hair with cool water, instead of hot water, will greatly reduce those heat numbers. Blow drying your hair with the cool setting will also lower your heat intake, creating a healthier environment for the flat ironing process!
